Please note: Google has now sunsetted their Universal Analytics properties. If you had an old UA code attached to your Fatsoma account it will now have stopped working and you will need to replace it with a new GA4 property. Find out how to create a GA4 property here.
Once you’ve created your GA4 property, log into business.fatsoma.com.
From your Dashboard, locate the brand you would like to add Google Analytics to. This can be done using the menu on the right-hand side of the page, or by clicking on the ‘Pages’ tab at the top of the page and selecting the correct brand from the drop down menu.
Locate the ‘Analytics’ heading in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.
Select 'GA4'.
Enter your Measurement ID in the box provided (this should be a 12-digit code starting 'G-').
Click 'Save'.
Refer back to your Google Analytics account to ensure that the property has been implemented correctly.
You can also add Google Analytics at both a company level and an event level on Fatsoma, however, please be aware that if you add the same tracking ID to both your company and one of your brands/events, Google will read any actions taken by your customers twice and your figures will be reported as double the actual value.
