How Do I Announce My Event?

Announcing your event sends a notification to your Reps and followers via the Fatsoma app and direct email.

You can announce your event when you originally list it or you can go back and announce it later. In the scenario below, we’ll run through announcing an existing event. If you’re announcing your event whilst you’re setting it up, then jump straight to step 3 below.

  1. From your Dashboard, scroll down and locate the event that you want to announce.

  2. Click the ‘Edit Event’ button.

  3. Scroll down to the section titled ‘Publish your event’. If your event isn’t yet published, you will need to do this before announcing.

  4. Find the section below titled ‘Announce your event’.

  5. Select ‘Announce Now’.

  6. Hit ‘Save Event’ to send out your Event Announcement to your followers.

Congratulations, you have successfully announced your event!
